Vaani Kapoor was born in a middle-class family in Delhi. Her father was a Furniture Exports Entrepreneur and her mother a TEACHER, but she is now working as a Marketing Executive.
He has an elder sister Nupur Chopra. Which has been settled in Holland by marriage.

Vaani Kapoor did her starting education from Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Delhi. After that he did further education with Indira Gandhi National Open Univercity.
Where Vaani obtained a Bachelor degree in Tourism and worked for some time at Oberoi Hotel & Resorts, Jaipur as an internship. Later she also worked at ITC Hotel.

In the days of Modeling, when Vaani used to be adorned with jewelery, it would have gone from 57 KG to 75 kg. In 2009 Vaani debuted on the small screen from the program [email protected] to be telecasted on Sony TV. He was signed for three movies in 2013 by Yash Raj Films. But here he did not get such an opportunity but got this chance after a rigorous audition.
Along with this, he was selected for the supporting role in Shuddh Desi Romance Film. Vaani did not have an acting background nor theater experience, despite winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut Awards, she made a brilliant debut on the silver screen.
Many Movie Critics praised her for her good acting in this movie. This movie was commercial successful, doing business of 48 crores. In 2014 Vaani Kapoor starred in the 2010 movie Rem Baake remake of Tamil movie Band Baaaja Baaraat.
This movie was released in Tamil and Telugu languages. Which was highly appreciated by film-lovers. Despite getting a great start in 2013, Vaani was neither seen on TV nor in any movie in 2015.
Suddenly in 2016, Vaani appeared in the first poster of his upcoming film Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor giving Hot Kiss Scene. Which was well liked by the youth. According to recent reports, Vaani Kapoor has been cast along with Salman Khan for Dhoom 4.
