A lot of celebs are doing their best to help people during the COVID-19 crisis. Singer Mika Singh’s NGO in Mumbai is providing ration to hundreds of people during these tough times. The singer shared a video in which he is on the streets doing his bit to help the masses.
Under the video, Singh captioned that he has been doing the charity work for 10 years now. He urged others to do the same and said that one doesn’t have to spend a lot of money to help others. One can just spend Rs 50 and buy a kg of rice or biscuits for those who need it.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Quarantine Love singer said that his NGO team did this activity 5-6 times with the help on Mumbai Police. He said, “They’re out there day and night, helping those in need and also providing food to so many people.”
A lot of debate is happening on social media about people, especially celebs doing charity for publicity as they share videos and pics. When Mika Singh was asked his take on the same, he said, “Agar aap dikhawe ke liye kar rahe ho, phir bhi kar rahe ho na. Woh kaafi hai. Iss time pe sab sahi sochna chahiye. At least this would inspire some more people to do the same and ultimately it will help the needy. Let’s focus on positives please.”

The singer has collaborated with TV actress Chahatt Khanna for the song Quarantine Love which will be out soon. Singh said that the song earnings from this track will go to the charity.
Mika stated, “Humko kitna kuch chahiye hota hai life mein, par ab samajh mein aa raha hain ki itni cheezon ki shayad zaroorat hi nahi hai. My heart is also filled with gratitude that I’ve so many comforts in life. Then why should I complain about anything else.”
