netflix recently rolled out its new Profile Protect feature. Through this feature, users will be able to lock their profile with PIN protection. Profiles shared with your account will not be able to access your viewing history through this feature.
In addition, the company has also rolled out a new parental control feature for young viewers, due to which they will not be able to access the matured content. Apart from this, the option to set PIN password for new profiles has also been rolled out.

You can easily switch any profile in the Netflix app. You can share this popular video streaming OTT platform with your friends and family members. After the roll out of the new feature, your friends or family members with whom you have shared your account will not be able to see your watch history.
Because of which the privacy of your content streaming will remain intact. Additionally, Netflix has several child-related programs available. You can also create a kids profile for your children. Users with kids profiles will not be able to access the content streamed to other profiles. You can follow these steps to secure the profile.
  • To open a PIN or password in the new profile, first open the app and tap on the hamburger menu at the bottom right.
  • Then tap on the account. This will redirect you to the webpage of the account. Scroll and tap in the Profile and Parental Control section.
  • Then tap on Profile Lock and enter the password of your Netflix account and tap on continue to enable Profile Lock.
  • After this, in the next option, set a 4-digit PIN and click on the Require user’s PIN option and save it.
  • By following these steps, you will be able to create a PIN for all profiles linked with the account.
